The Best NHL Props Bets for Thursday

Jack Eichel Over 0.5 Assists

(+110, DraftKings Sportsbook)

All eyes will be on Jack Eichel as he takes on his former team in Buffalo. Things didn’t go well for him in his return last year as his Golden Knights lost 3-1 and Eichel was snarky with the media after the game. Things this time around — in his first full season with the Golden Knights — have gone much better. This healthy Vegas squad enters on an eight-game winning streak. Eichel has six goals and 15 points in 14 games, and he’s picked up an assist in five of his past six games (seven in his last nine). Eric Comrie is expected to get the start for the Sabres and he’s allowed at least three goals in seven straight starts.

Bonus

Jack Eichel Point & Mark Stone Point (same-game parlay, +110, Bet365)

Owen Tippett Over 2.5 SOG

(-105, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Tippett has at least three shots on goal in six of his seven games since returning to the lineup Oct. 27. Over that span, he has three goals, six points and two power play points. It’s a big reason why he’s been promoted to the first line and the Flyers’ first power play unit. The Blue Jackets have coughed up the second-most shot attempts and the fourth-most shots against at 5v5/60, according to Natural Stat Trick. They also have a league-high 4.31 GA/60 at 5v5. We have a bit of money to play with (+5.91 units), so consider the following props when it comes to Tippett.

  • +112 Point (1 unit)
  • +245 Assist (0.25 units)
  • +300 Goal (0.25 units)
  • +350 PP Point (0.15 units)

Tyler Toffoli Over 2.5 SOG

(-135, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Toffoli has been pretty much automatic this season and his price hasn’t changed too much. The sniper has at least three shots on goal in eight of his last 10 games. He was stuck on two shots in the two games he failed to clear 2.5. This isn’t the best matchup for him against a Bruins team that doesn’t allow a lot, but neither was the Devils in Toffoli’s last game, and he put six pucks on net. So far through 12 games, the winger is averaging 3.6 shots per game. He only averaged 2.5 shots over 37 games with the Flames last year, but he also only played 15:05 per game. He’s getting an extra minute per game this season with Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau no longer around.

Bonus

Brock Nelson Point & Anders Lee Point +125 (Bet365)
Jack Hughes Point & Jesper Bratt Point +100 (Bet365)
Jordan Kyrou Point -128 (FanDuel Sportsbook) & Goal +210 (FanDuel Sportsbook)
