Danny Hurley enters his fifth season coming off UConn’s most wins (23) since the 2015-2016 season. The Huskies lost a lot of talent, but Hurley reloaded through the transfer portal and by signing a Top 50 recruit in 7-foot-1 Donovan Clingan in his home state. Hassan Diarra (Texas A&M), Nahiem Alleyne (Virginia Tech), and Tristen Newton (East Carolina) will all support Big East Preseason Player of the Year, Adama Sanogo.
