Texas basketball has come full circle. After promising to bring his “Havoc” brand from VCU to Austin, Shaka Smart instead posted four consecutive mid-pack finishes in turnover percentage before finally crawling back into the top 60 last year. Despite recruiting from a deep and talented pool, Smart opted to scrap the full-court press in lieu of a more conventional defensive scheme.
