This week’s PGA Tour course preview takes us to Shadow Creek for the CJ Cup. Typically, this even is played in South Korea, but with the current circumstances, it will be held in Las Vegas at Shadow Creek.

The PGA Tour has never played an event here, but we did see this course when “The Match” between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson back in 2018. Outside of that, we have no data from large fields and there will be a lot of speculation on how to best attack it. It is a well-known course though, deep with prestige and lore.

The course will play 7,560 yards, a par 72. It was originally shorter but was recently lengthened and according to Golf.com, Dustin Johnson holds the course record with a 66 (one other source did say 65). The fact...
