NBA Best Bets of the Day (3/23)

The NBA has a small slate of only four games Thursday evening. Two of them are rematches of games played in the last week. Our NBA betting model did not have a single edge in the 10% or higher range, so I have no bets on sides or totals. I was able to find two bets I liked in the player prop market.

Best NBA Points Prop Bet

Immanuel Quickley Over 12.5 Points

In games Immanuel Quickley has played without Jalen Brunson, he averages over 22 points per game. Brunson is questionable with a hand injury he suffered Wednesday against Miami. Even if Brunson does play, Quickley has gone over 12.5 points in 11 of his last 14 games with Brunson. If Brunson is ruled out, this number jumps three to four points, and we are locked in a great play. If Brunson does play, this number is still probably a coin flip at worst. 

Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet

Jarrett Allen Over 10.5 Rebounds

(-105, BetMGM)

This number feels a bit too low for Jarrett Allen. This game is a rematch of the Tuesday contest between these teams where Allen had 14 rebounds. After missing some time dealing with injury and seeing less minutes, Allen has now played 33 or more in each of the last three games. Not surprisingly he has seen his rebounding numbers jump with 12 or more in those three games. Allen projects for 30-plus minutes and more than 11 rebounds again here, so I like the value we are getting on it here with him being juiced down a bit to -105.
