It was sweaty, but David Peterson cashed the over on his K prop for us last week, as our write-ups continue to roll. We’re headed to Philly today for another K Prop. I’ll keep this brief, since this prop is on the move.
Through four starts, Logan Gilbert’s K% ranks in the 86th percentile. He has had six or more strikeouts in all of his outings this season, thanks to a strikeout percentage over 27% on all four of his pitches. To make the over even more enticing, he’s facing a Phillies lineup that has serious issues making contact – with the eighth-highest K rate against righties. More specifically, they sit in the top 10 for most strikeouts against three of the four pitches in his arsenal.
