Welcome to another Friday edition of best bets in the MLB presented by FTN Network. This evening we’ll focus on Game 1 of a weekend set between the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees taking place in Yankee Stadium.

Corey Seager has been simply amazing for the Rangers this season. He enters with a .358 BA, 10 homers and 45 RBIs. The Rangers as a whole have a been a great surprise in the first half of the season, and Seager has been a huge contributor to that since his return from the IL.
Seager is scorching hot at the plate in the month of June. He’s averaging .405 with a 1.200 OPS, both his highest numbers of any month early in the year. He’s shown the ability to take the show on the road as well, averaging .307 on the road with 22 RBIs and an .889 OPS.

Friday, we’ll ride with Seager to keep up his red-hot summer and Schmidt to continue his struggles against LHB at the plate.
