This is obviously a big day in the NFL, but the NBA has a nice slate of games on Sunday as well. Three games tip off in the early window, and another five are slated for later today. We had one major edge in our FTN NBA Betting model to discuss and multiple edges in our newly improved FTN Player Prop tool

You can now sort by stat and by game to make it easier to navigate. More of those edges may emerge as injury reports become clear and more prop numbers are released. You can stay up on those by checking the bet tracker as our analysts continue to add plays throughout the day. For now, here are my three NBA best bets.

Best NBA Spread Bet

Philadelphia 76ers @ Los Angeles Lakers -3

(-110 Caesars)

This is the biggest edge we have today in our FTN NBA Model. The 76ers are on the road and without Tobias Harris, but they did recently welcome back both Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid. The Lakers have injuries of their own. LeBron James is going to play today, but Lonnie Walker, Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves are out. Patrick Beverley is also questionable. That’s four key rotation pieces and at least three of the definite starters out for a team that is already thin and desperate for scorers.

Best NBA Points Prop Bet

Tre Jones over 15.5 Points

(-120 PointsBet)

Tre Jones has scored at least 18 points in five straight games. He draws a good matchup today against a Sacramento team that plays at a fast pace and is one of the softer defensive teams in the league, giving up the sixth-most points per 100 possessions. In fact, both of these teams are dreadfully bad at stopping the opposition, so I’m expecting this game to be a shootout with upside offensive production across the board.

Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet

Julius Randle OVER 11.5 Rebounds

(-127 BetRivers)

The stat logs for Julius Randle are pretty insane lately. The New Chairman of the Boards in New York has double-digit rebounds in 15 of the last 16 games, including three straight games of 16+. Detroit is a good matchup for opposing big men, as they have been allowing big numbers to the position on the season.
